Madhuri Dixit

MadhuriMadhuri dixit was an Indian actress, who is famous for her performances in the films 'Beta' "Saajan" and "Hum Aapke Hain Koun' . Her career in the industry began in the late 1980s. She gained popularity through her performance as a supporting character in the movie Tezaab. In the following film, she starred in the film "Dil" where she shared screen space with Aamir Khan. Born to a middle-class household in Mumbai and began learning dancing at a very young age. She tried her hand at acting when she was young however, it wasn't an easy task. The majority of her initial films failed. However, she eventually became successful and was one of the most well-known actors in Indian film. After her wedding, she took some time to relax from acting before returning to the entertainment industry. She was also an important part in the film 'Gulaabgang', which was about the challenges faced by women in India. Dixit is nominated for fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she was awarded eight. In addition, she was awarded the Padma Shri (the fourth highest civilian award in India). She is also well-known for her work in the field of social service.
